Let’s Crack This Down

The past grip of months have been insanely BUSY. What with my daily job and the wedding business, I feel abhorred by how I've neglected my blog and my readers out there. However though that is NOT an excuse, I'm hoping I can make it up to you all with the next few blog posts. With my computer, my main hub of all my resources and things, crashing, Thanksgiving and Christmas break filled with mixed emotions, now its New Years Eve, and a billion of other tiny things poking out here and there; I've been doing my best to get back into my routine of things. This also includes getting back to my routine of eight hours of sleep. Which has not been successful...seeing as how  I have SOOO MANY THINGS boggling in my brain, keeping me up at night. This year has been amazing having done ten wedd...

Project: Masquerade
Finalcleareyes (darker)

The past couple of months have been quite a journey with family, getting sick, work, projects, and getting sick once again. So as I write for all to read in my hazy blur, please bare with what I say. However I could just edit that later...OK! That's embarrassing....Anyways, for the past couple of months, I've gathered a team of amazing and talented people to make this project, a specialized themed photo shoot, a success! This photo shoot is just opening the door to many possible projects or events that I look forward to creating and planning! Now, I thrive and yearn to get my fingers dirty whether its in the latest recipe, a good book, or planning a crazy fabulous event. After seeing a particular theme that embraces a particular lifestyle and fetish, I decided to take on a little ventur...

In the recent month, I've had the opportunity of attending a Knot Mixer with my colleague, Marianne. It was a spectacle that I felt honored to attend. It confirmed that this was the right path for me! I got to meet other vendors and bumped into a few colleagues, fabulous catering companies with scrumptious dessert that were to die for, insightful speakers, and inspirational table settings and designs. One of the insightful speakers, happened to be Sullivan & Botello. When I was studying for my certification, Sullivan & Botello were one of our speakers. Its amazing how San Francisco is so small yet looks so big. With that, Marianne and I were glad to see them once again and even happier that they recognized us. Its like a celebrity sighting! Fangirling now!   [caption id=...

A Gold Affair
MD1

Recently, I had the opportunity to work with a fellow colleague of mine, Marianne, and some of my classmates. Marianne, had the opportunity to showcase her talent with a big bang! The wedding location was set in the Presidio, with clear skies and the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge in the background. The color scheme for the lucky couple was gold and white with a hint of blush pink. The overall atmosphere was romantic and glamorous! There were so many details that I must break it down for this grand spectacle! ~ The Wedding Chapel The wedding chapel was a fairy-tale that became a reality. Orchids wrapped around gold painted branches that hung crystal gems along the pews. The weight to the crystal gems creates a natural arch down the aisle towards the altar. Behind the altar was a large...

Andrea’s 2nd Birthday!
image_4

I had the pleasure of working with a close family friend, who I consider as a sister from another mother. We joined forces with a few of the night-crew gang and worked together in planning her daughter's 2nd birthday. Sonia's daughter Andrea, was the cutest thing! Can't get enough of her adorable laugh and the faces she makes. The theme was Doc Mcstuffins and I was asked to make the birthday cake as well. Now I've dabbled the pastry industry working at a bakery, a couple restaurants, and an ice cream shop. So any chance to make a cake helps practice and strengthen my skill set. Plus who wouldn't love to lick the cake batter off the spoon! The location of the party was in a sectioned off area of Coyote Point Park in San Mateo, California. It was a beautiful day out, sunny with a coo...
